Iris reticulata ‘Alida’
(Alida: pale silky blue, mid-blue fall with yellow blotch.)
Iris reticulata ‘Clairette’
(Clairette: A distinctive sky blue iris with deep blue falls marked white and light blue with a golden blotch.)
Iris reticulata ‘Rhapsody’
(Rhapsody: Blue bird blue, falls royal-blue with yellow and white rimmed blotch.)
These little beauties all began to flower last week and although one is actually the wrong bulb ordered (Rhapsody) they all bring a touch of spring to the garden. (And for those who weren’t so keen on Saturday’s Sketch, this post is for you 😙)
These are utterly gorgeous. If I can pinch a few pots from hubby’s collection, I should plant some again. (He has lots out at the front of the house in summer – keeps him from creating trouble in the back garden – my territory, LOL!)
They are definitely worth having.
