Becky’s Squares photo challenge has returned.
This month’s theme is Renew. Or Burgeoning. Or Moving Forward. Or Reconstructing.
You get the idea.
Seeing the garden awaken after months of deluge made me think that maybe seeing how nature renews itself might be my theme. Although my intention was to feature my own garden this month, a visit to Kew Gardens at the beginning of the month with my daughter and granddaughter provided me with the opportunity to experiment with the phone I have inherited from my son. So for the next week or so I shall share some of the things that caught my eye there. Spending time with family very much helped me in the process of moving forward.
It must be over 40 years since I last went to Kew Gardens, but I remember it as a wonderful place. Goslings and ducklings are always so cute, I love to see them following their parents on the water.
Best wishes, Pete. x
The Palm house needs an awful lot of restoration, and I am very surprised that there is no dedicated parking as there is at RHS Wisley. You have to drive around to find a spot on one of the neighbouring streets and check for permit holders only.
Very sweet! I’m pleased you got to spend time with family. Does your daughter live near Kew? If so she’s not far from me!
No, she lives in Claygate, Esher. A bit of a trek, but she is pretty competent in driving around London!
They’re adorable at that age. Not so much when grown.
I think everyone is of the same opinion.
I think so.
They’re so cute!
They are at this age.
how gorgeous!
Cute balls of fluff.
They are so cute!
Now, isn’t that too cute! I don’t think there’s anyone out there who doesn’t have a smile on his/her face when they look at this photo.
Yes, they always make you go “ahhh…”
Beautiful post. It is beautiful to see the chicks together with their mother. ♥️
