Last night we saw another of the fabulous autumn sunsets that light the sky for half an hour or more at this time of year. Starting with pretty yellow hues at just after 6 pm and then deepening into orange and scarlet by 6:36 pm.

So majestic!
Very lovely captures π
My goodness, what stunning shots.
Easy with such stunning colours π
What a splendid view, Jude! Awesome colour display on your captures. Can you just go outside of your house and make this photos or do you go somewhere and hope for a nice sunset? We have had a magnificent sky here a couple of nights too. When I see how lovely and colourful the sky is, well, then it’s too late to go anywhere to capture it. Twice now we have gone to Morston and waited for the sunset and both times it suddenly turned very cloudy and no good for photography, that’s life. π
Wishing you a wonderful relaxing weekend,
Dina & co x
I am lucky Dina that I get these views from my house. I usually just head upstairs and open the window! Occasionally we go up the hill, but on the occasions I have headed to the coast the sunsets haven ‘t happened.
Great, lucky you! π The village blocks my view, I have to head further up or down along the coast to get the splendid views.
Happy autumn sunsets. That last one looks particularly vibrant.
Amazing how the colours change over the half an hour. Just when I think it is safe to stop looking the sky changes again!
Lush π
