Square January #15

Upstairs

Always the optimist, Becky is hoping that 2021 will be a more positive year as we march onwards and upwards. Yes, the theme for January Squares is the word ‘up’ and as usual she invites us all to join her in a month of ‘ups’ of any description. The only absolute rule is that your main photograph must be SQUARE, and remember a square has 4 equal sides.

Water is always cold. But, yes, colder in January 🥶

Such a blue sea – but as Jo says – brrrr.

  3. BeckyB says:

Glad you are upstairs, you’d get very wet feet downstairs!

No way could I go up or down those steps!

      1. BeckyB says:

        I’d be fine going up!

        You and me both, Jude!

  4. Cornwall doesn’t just do lovely blue skies it would seem.

    1. Heyjude says:

It does exquisite blue water too – though not today.

      1. It’s a marvellous place altogether.

        1. Heyjude says:

A little too crowded now though, sadly.

The blues of the sea and on the metalwork make a lovely contrast to the stone stairs and quayside, Jude.
    Best wishes, Pete. x

  6. Joyce says:

Those are the prettiest little stairs! I agree about not climbing them, especially in January 😊

  7. Lovely steps but like others, I wouldn’t want to venture into the water. One of my neighbours is a member of The Blue Tits and they sea swim every day, whatever the weather!

    1. Heyjude says:

      An appropriate name then 😂

      1. Thought you’d like that! 🙂

  8. Lovely image and very colorful!

  9. I’d be very careful on those stairs. They look slippery. And I wouldn’t want to end up in the chilly water.

    1. Heyjude says:

I don’t think anyone uses them, they are for the fishing boats, but not many of those here now.
