Keeping it simple this week as an unforeseen family incident has interrupted my peaceful life in the south-west corner, but these images were taken just before that took place. Porthminster Beach in St Ives around 8 p.m. on a beautiful evening. I spent a couple of hours wandering the beaches and photographing the sunset. Little did I know what the future held for me and primarily, my son, just 48 hours later.
You may not see too much of me in the blogging world for bit, as I need to go away, but I will try to pop in to at least like your posts, if not comment. And hopefully it won’t be too long before I can walk on these beaches again.
All best wishes to you and yours, Jude. These photos are exquisite and all the more poignant in their ‘peace before the stormness.’
Thank you Tish. Life throws up some challenges at times.
Beautiful images. Sending my best wishes to you and your family.
Thank you Su.
Oh Jude, I do hope your family thing is soon resolved. Take care xx
Thanks Jenny, it is going to be a long term thing, but at the moment things are going well.
Wonderful observations in these photos Jude. My thoughts and best wishes for a positive outcome are with you. Go gently.
Thank you Robyn. Progress is being made, albeit slowly.
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in my life is how quickly ones life can change – in the blink of an eye.
Your family situation sounds very unsettling–I do hope everything works out for the best and you can get back your peaceful life.
Much appreciated Kerry.
It is indeed strange how things change in the blink of an eye. (((Hugs Jude)))
Sorry to read this Jude – I do hope all will be well soon, take care X
Thanks Rosemary. He is making good progress so things look positive.
Good to hear that Jude, best wishes for your son’s ongoing recovery š
Those are appealing morsels you found on the beach. Too bad I couldn’t have joined you; I’d have photographed them too.
Like everyone else, I’m sorry to hear of your family’s travails.
Thanks Steve, it would have been a pleasure to have your company! Son is making good progress so we are all very relieved.
Good news on the second count. As for the first, let’s hope someday it’ll come to pass.
