My grandfather forever tortured us with the question of “how many were going to St. Ives.” At the time I had no idea that St. Ives was an actual place. Lovely photo.
I like the sign about not climbing onto or jumping off the balcony. Of course the first prohibition automatically precludes the second (unless, perhaps, someone is lowered onto the balcony from a helicopter).
Gorgeous lighthouse, Jude. Love the sign. I’m sure it’s not really necessary, but one never knows these days with the growing popularity of selfies. 😯
Such a perfect lighthouse and I’m really glad you shared the photo, its a treat!
That is one beautiful shot, Jude. 🙂 🙂 But the sign made me smile.
Great image, love the sign
You can’t beat rust for adding character and texture. Nice one, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Dry obliging seagull…
What a lovely glow, I hope they don’t get too many jumpers!
I suspect it would only be kids who would think to jump off it into the harbour.

Thank you Elizabeth. Did you get over here this year?
No. Life intervened as it tends to. Still hoping to get there.
Life has a way of doing that.
