Low tide when the beaches of Godrevy and Gwithian link up and you can walk across the Red River which divides the two. Taking a photograph from the top of the cliffs is a favourite of mine. I love to see the ‘ant’ people.

Colours of the Celtic Sea
This view of St Ives harbour and island is one of my favourites especially when the tide is in and the sun is shining. The colours of the Celtic sea (An Mor Keltek) can be breathtakingly beautiful – cyans, aquamarine and deep blues. Hard to believe this is England.

Sun Glitter
More ‘ant’ people and a couple of ‘ant’ dogs enjoying the sun at Porthtowan’s beach last week. And one of my favourite shots of sun sparkling on the water.
A lot like Lowry
A blogging friend of mine once said how much she loved my ‘signature’ ant people as I photograph beaches from the cliff tops. So here’s a recent one for her.

Porthtowan
Looking north towards St Agnes Beacon This is the view in the opposite direction to the photos I recently posted from the same beach Silver Sand and Shooting into the Sun.
Silver Sand
Shooting into the sun helped to create this liquid silky-silver reflective effect. The hint of peachy-pink in the sky above the horizon, a bonus.
