I call this my wild garden because it is an area that does not get a lot of attention. This is a large gravelled area where the oil tank and the septic tank are situated and room to park up to three cars. Because of the septic tank I can’t grow trees or any other deep rooted plants here, but there is a Cornish hedge alongside the fence beyond which is a very overgrown area in the farmyard. This was home mainly to weeds such as brambles, grass and nettles before I cleared in in 2019 and planted it with cuttings from the garden. On the opposite side is a low granite wall which again I have tried to fill with cuttings, but there is not much soil in this wall.
