inspired by the colours of the land, sea and sky of Cornwall

Fabulous building 🙂
Supposed to be rather nice inside, but we haven’t eaten there yet.
I love that Art Deco style, so glamorous!
I love it too, sad there doesn’t seem to be much left standing.
I do as well 🙂
It looks like a fabulous building you’d see in one of those David Suchet, Poirot TV shows!!
Quite a handsome place, eh?
We need to go inside, apparently there are still some art deco features.
My favourite architectural style! I would dearly love to live in that buiilding as a private house.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Love this art deco style. I can see it sailing out to sea
I love it! By the way, I seem not to be able to comment on your other blog these days. It just vanishes! Presumably into spam. I seem to become persona non grata on different blogs from time to time. One of the vagaries of WP.
I do try and fish you out of spam on Travel Words, but if I don’t keep a careful watch there is far too much to wade through – for some reason that blog attracts hundreds of RV / motor home crap. You and Bushboy fall foul of the settings I have set up.
Oh well, I’ll just add likes! i get weird medical stuff (usually really long) and p*rn invitations, though it’s a lot less since i took the tip (maybe from you) to close comments on older posts.
My bots seem to attach comments to photos and there is no way to bulk edit photos to turn comments off.
Just got it, GalliVANter, of course! You might have told me that before, it sounds familiar.
I watch out for you when I post the Sunday a to z. 😁
Remembered now, it was Eilene at Myricopia who also had the van problem and inadvertently banned me. Must be a lot of van bots! She doesn’t write about campervans either 🤷🏻♀️
Did I comment on this before? Looks very familiar but just come up in my Reader. Rather lovely 😍
You commented on the other art deco building I put up just before your holiday.
Yes 🤗 💗
Very cool.
Isn’t it a beautiful building. I was interested to read your conversation with Anabel because I get hundreds of those van/RV spam comments too. I try to remember to empty spam every day and I do a quick look through to make sure no genuine comments get caught up in the rubbish. It drives me crazy.
Me too! Why can’t Akismet simply trash them!
I sought help from WordPress and was told if these types of comments go into spam they are identified and blocked and there will be fewer of them. But the number I get never seems to reduce. It does make me feel better to know it’s not just my blog. It’s not a big deal to empty spam every day but it’s annoying all the same.
I get hundreds each day, though yesterday I changed my settings so people have to be logged in to make a comment and today my spam is empty.
I’ve made that change too. It will be interesting to see what happens.
I haven’t had any spam or trash so far.
That’s good news.
Isn’t it amazing how different The Yacht Inn and the church look … almost as if it should be in two different countries!
