      Mine too 😁

  2. Delightful. I used to live in the tulip town of Spalding in Lincolnshire

    1. Heyjude says:

Lovely. Do you still drive out that way to see the bulb fields?

      1. They have all gone now, there are lots of daffodils but no tulips. Competition from the Netherlands made them unprofitable. In the 1960s there were tourists and coach trips, thousands visited annually to go to the tulip festival in May. That stopped about 15 years ago.

When I was a child and we lived in Retford we used to visit on our regular Sunday drive. Stop off at the pub on the way home and us kids used to have a bottle of lemonade and a packet of crisps in the car. Funny the things you remember.

        2. I had never heard of it until I went to work there in 2000 and then part my job was to look after the flower parade.

  3. How beautiful. You are lucky to have such lovely tulips in your garden.

Your garden must be delightful with all these gorgeous tulips!

    1. Heyjude says:

A bit battered today! Just come through 24 hours of severe gales.

      1. Ann Mackay says:

I hope that your garden recovers from the gales – must be horrible to see your plants being damaged.

    Oh wow – amazing varieties

  6. All of them in your own garden … wow, that’s fantastic Jude!

    1. Heyjude says:

There are only one or two of most of these, they are tulips that I have grown over the years and most don’t return. It is always nice to see them again though.

  7. This is beautiful. When I was scrolling through this really quickly, it almost looked like these tulips were flames. I love your angle here, it really looks like the flowers are ablaze with life.
