Cats are good at that, as this shot demonstrates.
Yes, give them a patch in the sun and they are happy.
Exactly where I’d like to be this cold March morning — but, alas, no sun out.
Dead still.
Looks very at home. Not yours? A good mouser!
Genna’s cat brings his ‘kills’ inside the house. Many a night spent trying to catch a mouse! And no this isn’t him, or mine.
Thought not 🤣💖
Not something I would have thought of but true 😀
I think it belongs to a still life photography even if it isn’t dead. Lovely. Yours?
Unfortunately not. Though now we don’t travel very much I wouldn’t mind getting another cat.
Ah – I would love to have one as well. Please
Cats are good subjects. My dog would have moved if he had seen me approach with a camera. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
Ollie is notoriously camera shy!
Lovely cat and nicely photographed – like the cat I can almost feel the warmth of the sun!
A cat doing what cats (including my two) do best – snoozing in the sun. Works beautifully in B&W.
Thanks Ann.
Still life until you make the mistake of an uninvited ear tickle, then the claws and teeth will come out! Or was that just my cats?
Our tortoiseshell could be quite savage! One mad cat. Her offspring were very sweet though.
Lovely!
