Saturday Sketches #26

During the winter I take a break from the Six on Saturday meme as there is not much to record in my garden over the next few months (Plus it is too wet and cold to go out there). Instead I shall be posting photos that have been taken on my phone and edited with some of the different photo editing effects. Hence Saturday Sketches! Sadly nothing to do with my artistic talents – more the lack of!

Although I don’t see coloured crayon here, I do see the best of autumn, vividly recorded.

The crayon effect just emphasises the colours. And I used the least amount this time.

I agree with Margaret- it’s subtle and I like it. Happy Saturday, Jude 🤗💗

    1. Heyjude says:

Oh good. I thought this worked well. As you say, subtle.

        🤣💗

  3. Autumnal colours are always so beautiful.

    1. Heyjude says:

They can be, though we don’t have those trees that give you the reds and golds down here.

      1. Same here, it just doesn’t get cold enough in autumn.

I like this one. Less ‘obvious’ than some, but very effective.
    Best wishes, Pete. x

Thanks Sally. It’s wonderful what a bit of editing can do for a photo.

A lovely autumnal glow! The restrained use of the coloured crayon works really well without overpowering the image.

    1. Heyjude says:

I agree, restrained works well on this photo

  7. I didn’t notice the difference but like both. 🙂

  8. Murtagh's Meadow says:

    Love the colours

  9. It’s definitely fall colours galore! And not “abnormal” (if I can call it that) … it looks like a proper autumn day should look like 😉.

    1. Heyjude says:

Just a little more saturation to bring out all the golds and coppers.

let's have a conversation...
