I shall be joining Cathy of ‘Words and Herbs’ in her aim to bring cheer to the dark days of December. Back in 2017 (can it really be five years ago?) I had an Alternative Advent Calendar on my flower blog showing the wonderful flowers that were in bloom along the George V Memorial Walk in Hayle during November. I haven’t been able to get to the garden this November so I am going to reuse those beautiful blooms which hopefully will bring some brightness into our lives.

Keep this up, Jude. A great start to my day!
You’re welcome Margaret.
Perfect antidote for the winter blues. It’s trying to snow here! Thanks Jude. ๐
Cold here today and a ground frost this morning. But nice and sunny.
This looks familiar … I must have seen it on our walks in the mountains. Do they come in pink as well? A pretty little flower.
Yes it does.
Lovely!
We could do with some cheering up in Beetley today. Freezing rain, and dark at 3:30pm.
Best wishes, Pete. x
That doesn’t sound like fun. ๐
Soaked on the dog-walk, despite taking an umbrella. ๐ฆ
Lovely – I can almost smell them!
Alyssum might be tiny but they always look very pretty.
They do and I keep meaning to buy some for my containers!
My kind of advent calendar! It cheers me greatly to think of flowers as I look towards my own grey and chilly garden… ๐
It’s not been too bad here this week, though dull here now. Rozanne is still flowering!!
Mine isn’t, but was until very recently. Think she’s had enough of the miserable weather!
These little flowers always so smell so pretty with the sun on them. They are just darling!
They seem to flower all year round in this garden. I really need to buy some for mine.
