Becky (the Queen of Squares) is dipping her toes back into blogging this month and encouraging us to get outside and take a few steps each day during November to help survive those endless grey days. And to share a photo or two while we are at it. Square of course.
Although going to and from my house means using the same lane (in either direction) it is a case of deciding on which hill to negotiate on the day. Living where I do means that no matter where I go there will be some kind of incline involved, unless I stay quite close! This week we’re going on the Brunnion loop.

A lovely image, and full of texture too! 😉
I thought that too! 😂
love how both the new and old type of bales exist side by side
One type for feed, the other for bedding? 🙄
ooh that makes sense
BTW Becky can you please check your spam folder I think I might have popped into it by mistake 😯
well why on earth would you do that?!!
Looks like being being a cold wet winter and the farmer is getting some feed in for the stock.
Great barn and love the photo Jude 🙂
Wet definitely! 💧💧💧
The rusty (or painted?) roof really lifts this photo, Jude. Great shot.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Rusty. I like rusty 😊
Is that in preparation for winter? I like the photo … and I can’t decide to which I’m attracted more: The rusty look of the barn or the neatly stacked hay 🙂.
Yes, definitely winter feed and possibly straw for the bedding. I don’t know the difference between hay and straw except that hay is for feed. The rusty look is fabulous.
Love the colors on that barn. Excellent photo 😀
Thanks Cee.
Pleasing dilapidation!
Quite.
Very colorful.
It is compared to others around here. The rust really makes it stand out.
What a lovely old building – the roofline is so interesting.
A quirky little barn with lovely rust!
Great, colourful shot.
