Becky (the Queen of Squares) is dipping her toes back into blogging this month and encouraging us to get outside and take a few steps each day during November to help survive those endless grey days. And to share a photo or two while we are at it. Square of course.
This week I am looking at things closer to home. Living as I do in the countryside I only have to walk out of my front door to be surrounded by fields and views of the hills and a glimpse of the sea. I know I am very lucky to have all this space and beauty.

You certainly are blessed, Jude. Your choice of edit really makes it look like a painting.
Thanks Janet, I just played about with a few effects and ended up with this one. It does look like a painting.
Very clever! It really does look like a painting. How do you do that? Mel
It’s just a texturiser effect on sandstone in Photoshop Elements. A bit of tweaking. 😁
Very tricky!
You have the most beautiful views on your walks–I love this!
Thanks Joyce. Yes there are some great views around here.
That’s a lovely view and such nice light. I can see why it’s a favorite.
The low autumn light can create great warmth to a photo. I was lucky that the sun appeared at that part of the walk.
Extremely beautiful photo❣️❣️
Extremely beautiful view 😊
Simply stunning, Jude.
Thanks Carol. A view I have lots of photos of, but the light changes it all the time
