Becky (the Queen of Squares) is dipping her toes back into blogging this month and encouraging us to get outside and take a few steps each day during November to help survive those endless grey days. And to share a photo or two while we are at it. Square of course.
This week I am looking at things closer to home. Living as I do in the countryside I only have to walk out of my front door to be surrounded by fields and views of the hills and a glimpse of the sea. I know I am very lucky to have all this space and beauty.

And another very pleasing composition, Jude.
I heard him coming so waited for him. Should have been a bit closer though for a better shot of the horse.
So similar to lanes round here. Lovely.
One reason why I always drive slowly around these lanes.
Good on you. Van man, late to the next delivery, isn’t always so careful.
I am surprised there aren’t more accidents around these narrow roads what with horses, cyclists, tractors, tourists walking where there are no pavements and the all too familiar delivery vans!
A lovely English scene, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Typical countryside scene.
For a moment there I thought he was a Mountie! The plants are loving our dampish couple of days. What kind of floral or otherwise theme have you got coming up on Saturday? Forewarned is forearmed!
It’s a big horse! Am I supposed to forewarn people of the theme? I’m not at all sure. 🤔 Not floral anyway, unless you choose to be.
Sometimes there’s a clue, isn’t there? I was just fishing 😁💗
Fish could work.
🤣🌊🦈🐠❣️
I don’t get to see horses often, especially with riders. You are so lucky 😀 😀
Gorgeous view. I love the richness of the colours and the trees, oozing age.
Beautiful lane.
Your country views where you live are so lovely – you are lucky. I love this photo – such a peaceful scene.
so wonderful to have this on your doorstep
So peaceful and pretty 😍
