Becky (the Queen of Squares) is dipping her toes back into blogging this month and encouraging us to get outside and take a few steps each day during November to help survive those endless grey days. And to share a photo or two while we are at it. Square of course.

I could just wallow in this photo. It’s wonderful.
Lots of layers.
🥰❣️
Like a painting in the Louvre!
Mmm… I should have tried some post editing effects on this one.
I bet you didn’t hang around long, with that storm brewing.
We got caught just as we arrived home! Mad dash from car to house.
Did it turn out into a rain storm … looks like that!
Not sure if this was the one I had just been caught in, or the one that hit us as we drove home. It’s been that kind of week!
Stormy or not, this looks so inviting.
The light was amazing.
oh I so want to be here. I do miss being close to the sea
You’ll have to share mine for now, a few more to come. I could stare at this view for hours.
I will join you staring at it one of these days xx
That would be lovely.
I love the light and dark cloud contrast Jude. It is rather fabulous 🙂
It was quite dramatic.
Stormy skies usually give great atmosphere to photos, and worked very well in this one, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Thanks Pete, it is definitely autumn now!
I always imagine those downwards streaks are rain, but I don’t know if they are or not.
I think they are.
Great photo. The light is spectacular.
Yes, the light was amazing that afternoon, it was as though the rain had washed any dullness away. I could have stayed there for hours taking photos.
Those are serious clouds! We need some rainclouds here in Southern California–I wish we could borrow some!
I wish I could send you some, it’s been raining all week!
