Dahlia Mignon are compact plants (45cm) that produce large numbers of nectar-rich single flowers. These were sown last year but never did very much, but I kept them over winter and finally in late September I got two flowers! Maybe next year…
These look lovely. I have found dahlias to be very drought tolerant because they can rely on their tubers. I expect yours will have built up root now to give of lots of flowers next year. Amelia
I’m not big on dahlias – too big and blowsy for me. But this is a delicate delight.
These are tiny! I’m not sure they are supposed to be so small.
Small is beautiful …
Yay!
Very delicate indeed. A lovely flower portrait, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Ohh…lovely Jude. I love the shading around the edges.

I hope so, they are tiny!
