I love the play of light and shade through the woods.

Yes. Should have linked to the lens artists as well.

True! But that goes on and on πŸ€—πŸŒΈπŸ’•

  2. I’m loving the blue haze when walking or driving around our Cornish lanes. πŸ™‚

They do seem to be everywhere. I even have ONE landed in my garden!

      1. Like the one that landed in our drive! πŸ™‚

Who doesn’t love bluebells? A great selection, Jude.
    Best wishes, Pete. x

Hi, Jude. I agree. This post is great for the light and shadow challenge! Beautiful images of spring.

Beautiful bluebells, what could be more spring-like?! And I agree with what others have said, the light and shade in these woodland shots would be perfect for the LAC this week πŸ™‚

  7. I always enjoy the swaths of woodland bluebells and wish I could replicate those scenes in my own gardens ~ but I don’t live in the woods. Still, I can dream, can’t I?

    1. Heyjude says:

A lot of bluebells around here do not grow in woods either, they are in the verges and even on open ground on the hill in full sun!

  8. Cathy says:

Glorious, Jude, and such lovely photos too. Sadly my own bluebells seem to have been playing around with some foreigners and I realise now have mostly mixed-race ones…

    1. Heyjude says:

Oh, no! They are still rather lovely though.

      1. Cathy says:

And it seems to have happened relatively quickly too… πŸ™„

    You can’t beat bluebells. Beautiful

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks MM. Always lovely to see the haze of blue in the lanes.

  10. And very beautiful they are too, Jude. Perfect spring photos.

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Janet. I guess you don’t get much of a spring where you live now.

      1. Certainly not one like you have or we had while living in the Midwest. And summer starts early here. Next week temperatures are going into the 100’s F. Sigh.
