festival of spring #3

Muscari latifolium / Broad leaved  – shades from tips that are the blue of a summer sky to a rich purple-blue at the base of each flower. Here with ‘Pink Sunrise’

Although these Muscari (Grape hyacinths) have appeared in my Six on Saturday a few times already, they are proving to be a true delight this year, flowering their little socks off for weeks on end. So before they fade away I thought I would give them one more chance to shine. (The header image is of my table top collection of dwarf bulbs which included Narcissus Tete a Tete and Toto (white) and Anemones.)

I am going to join in with Dawn’s Festival of Spring which will last for 10 -12 weeks in celebration of this season.
