Well the rain came and went early this morning and now it is just very windy and sunny! Lots of gulls in the fields.
Sanderlings on the beach. I wanted some pine cones for the fireplace but himself can’t be bothered. 😗💕

That’s a shame, a wood fire is so cheery during the winter months. Even there I imagine.
Definitely! I’d love one but we don’t have a chimney. We could have had one created on an outside wall but it wouldn’t have looked great and Michael’s never been a fan of looking after a fire.
I don’t have a chimney either. The flue goes up through my room upstairs and out through the roof. Bonus is when lit it warms upstairs too!
