Pickle jar? Onions? Happy weekend, Jude!

You have obviously forgotten my post about Penpol Terrace 🤣
(“Pickle Jar” Corner got its name from the local practice of putting a wooden plank across pickling barrels to use as seats during Carnival and Feast Day parades).

Memory like a sieve! Did I read that? Thought it might be the name of the corner pub 🤣💕

I would imagine it to be fish rather than onions!

      1. restlessjo says:

        Or even pickled eggs 😂💕

        1. Heyjude says:

          I’d prefer the onions!

    Best wishes, Pete. x

    1. Heyjude says:

Indeed. Not many fishing boats now though. And it used to be a place of thriving industry back in the 18th and 19th centuries. How time changes!
