Nope, not yet . . . fly tomorrow and currently trying to work out if we need to book PCR tests in addition to the lateral flow ones we have already booked.
Our flight will be quiet as out of season and flying into Bournemouth – so am sure we’ll be okay.
Plus not convinced that’s where he got it as evidence is the combination of air filtering and correct wearing of a good mask makes risk negligible – we’ll be wearing a FFP2 mask though to be extra sure!
Fabulous!!!! I hope you stay well. We were out last night at a jazz event and our company of 6 was reduced to 5 because one had been poleaxed by her booster. Her partner felt very rough in the morning but soon got over it.
Mick on Thursday morning. I don’t have an appointment – glitch in the online system – but I’ll go along with him and we think they’ll take us together. They just want to get the job done 😉💕
14 hours in total, with an hour in the afternoon which was lucky as I could charge my phone. Only way to check on the updates! Thank goodness for the wood burner.
That was a worthwhile discovery! We have have log burner effect gas fire (the Golfer needs instant heat!) and I have sometimes thought it must get hot enough to boil a kettle… 😉
You’ve been playing 🙂
PS hope you’ve survived the storm and no damage to garden or house. Mum says still incredibly windy in Somerset
No power since 4am, so cold, dark and no coffee!!! 😱
aaargh!!!!
Quite. Only having electricity is a problem when this happens. Even though we use oil we still need electricity to run the boiler and pumps.
Have you still not got it back? Brrr, sending warm thoughts.
One of the reasons we still have a fire place is because of this.
We do fortunately have a wood burner and I have discovered that we can boil water on it!. Power came on for an hour but just gone off again 😢
really hope it is now back on again, but yay for having a wood burner
Came on 10 minutes ago, but still the possibility of going off again as they are still working on the supply.
guess you are doing everything you can then whilst you have it!
Just lost power here! Only for 5 minutes or so, but much of town affected. Thank goodness we travel with torches.
Are you home again now?

I think so. And self isolate until the results. PCR tests on day 2 I think.
Still only lateral flow for us as we’re back before Tuesday.
Phew! Lucky!
Hope you don’t catch it on the flight, which seems to be where Jo’s son caught it from.

I have 🤣
Is this you playing? Nice silhouettes!
Heehee…
That’s a rather clever special effect.
Clever phone!
That worked quite well with the partial colour, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Yay!
Its good to play with photos Jude – what do you use?
p.s. hope your power soon’s restored – we have snow but heat and light too!
Just come back on. I have discovered that we can heat a pan of water on the wood burner which is good to know!
And now gone off again! Could be a looong evening.
Eek about the weather and lack of power! Ours went down for 4 hours last Saturday. Seems ages ago now. Hope you’ve got warmth back.
Just come back on. We had our boosters this morning and went for a full Cornish afterwards and a walk by the sea in hailstones! 😂

We are fine so far.
Banging headache this morning and a little warm, but nothing too bad.
🙄💕
When do you get your booster?

I just love this.
Excellent!
I like this one. My eye was drawn from bottom to top, to those four characters on the hill. They’ll probably never know they’re famous. 🙂
This is such a good photo, Jude, and the tweaking just adds to this. Sorry to read about your powercut – I wonder how long it lasted in the end…?

Gosh, you must have had to do a lot of thinking out of the box!
