Brian (aka Bushboy) is running a monthly challenge where he asks you to post the last photo on your SD card.
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for October.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

… and a rainbow. Don’t forget the rainbow.
🌈
Hey, Jude (!), Michaela captured that rainbow too, over the Camel estuary. It was a pretty spectacular one.
The other end of this one must have been over St Ives Bay, but I couldn’t get a decent photo. How is is that the camera doesn’t see the colours that the naked eye does? My rainbows always look washed out.
Yes it is strange, and that one at the weekend was particularly vivid
Somewhere, over the rainbow….
There’s always one…
Not me! 🤔💕💕
Oh how nice, I also saw a rainbow yesterday!
This last week has been full of sunshine and showers and rainbows!
A dramatic landscape shot, perfectly set off by that rainbow.
Best wishes, Pete.
The view from my ‘office’. Well not quite as I can’t actually see Alice unless I stand up to look out of the window.
For a moment I thought that was the view from our windows. Complete with rainbow. Beautiful.
Do you have an engine house close by?
Nope! Totally missed that, being too focused on the skyline. And the rainbow!
That’s cheating. That is way too good for a Last Photo. That would make a good watercolour. Your landscape function on your camera gives a wide angle or a wide angle lens? Thanks for joining in Jude 🙂 🙂
My phone has a wide angle, this is taken through the window so there are some smudges of rain drops! I actually haven’t taken many photos this month, not even of the garden, so this was a lucky shot. I noticed the rainbow when working on my computer.
A phone photo too. Wow, it’s a great one 🙂
The rainbow was much brighter to my eye.
room with a view – how lucky – and a lovely lucky shot as rainbows are hard to capture
I see what you mean! Beautiful. I sometimes think of joining in with this challenge but then I check my last picture and it’s a crooked blur and my foot, and decide not this month!
Ah, but those are the sort of photos Brian likes best!
I know. I’d be the rubbish pictures superstar.
That’s a lovely one.
Much brighter in real life.
