last photo

Brian (aka Bushboy) is running a monthly challenge where he asks you to post the last photo on your SD card.

The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for July.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

A typical roadside scene here in Cornwall during July and August – this was snapped whilst queuing up for fish and chips in Carbis Bay in late July.

  1. Ageratum? Never have I seen such large plants as these. Quite an eye catcher along the road.

Well, it is difficult to tell when you don’t know the scale of them.

  2. bushboy says:

That is one beautiful Last Photo Jude. Thanks for joining in the fun 🤗💕

    1. Heyjude says:

When I took that photo I had no idea it would be the last one for the month!

      1. bushboy says:

Isn’t that the way. It’s the same for my little Canon and my phone camera. Seldom used so it’s always a surprise to find what the last photo is 🙂 🙂

  3. These are such pretty summer colours.

Seem to line the road all the way through Carbis Bay into St Ives.

  4. So beautiful view 👌🙏🌷

You would love the Azores! Every time I see hydrangeas it takes me back there, even though I missed peak season. I know I’d love Cornwall too, but it’s on the back burner for now. Yesterday was a humungous day and I’m sorry- I will reply soon.

    1. Heyjude says:

I’m not that fussed about hydrangeas, but they do well here. I wouldn’t mind one of the really dark reddish-purple ones though. Glad all is good, you had me worried there for a while.

      1. restlessjo says:

I had myself worried for a while! Just had a lovely evening stroll out to Quatro Aguas and back to chill pork and spuds in the slow cooker. Economy drive 🤣💕

A nice view to have while queuing for a takeaway. Better than the parked cars in Dereham Market Place, that’s for sure.
    Best wishes, Pete. x

  7. Joanne Sisco says:

WOW! Look at those hydrangeas!!! Clearly you have the environment these plants are meant to thrive in. Mine are horrible underachievers in comparison!

    1. Heyjude says:

Lots of rain and warm sunshine ☀

      1. Joanne Sisco says:

Maybe if I show your photo to the hydrangeas in my garden, they will get the hint …

  8. Thanks for putting me on to this challenge, Jude! Like you I am still adding words.

What a fabulous setting in which to queue!
