I can’t go into much detail as to how this picture was created as it is simply one of the photo editing effects on my phone. Originally taken in colour I simply scroll along to the black and white pencil sketch and save. There are a lot of effects on the phone, my favourite is probably the colour pencil sketch which has featured on here quite often. Why did I choose black and white? Because I liked the way the lines in the paving line up with the lines on the bench which I’m not sure comes across as well in colour.

I can see what you mean about the lines. But I prefer the original of course. I like the lush green of the banana leaves.

Haha… I have found a few sneaking in lately, but I deliberately stopped taking photos of them.
That is so tropical looking. Where was it taken? And of course I love the pencil sketch, that is my favourite art form I have so many sketch books full of them
I like the pencil sketch too, just wish I could do it myself! The bench, and the bananas, are in a garden in Penzance. Haven’t been there since last November!
I’m saving that photo sketch in my inspiration folder as I think it is so good for copying….

Love them both sketch and colour photo
The pencil-sketch effect works really well with the lines in the image. I Like the colour version too because the banana leaves look so lush.
