April is a square month and this year Becky wants us to find the bright things in life. I had a few ideas all relating to Cornwall of course with my coruscating seas and cloudless skies, happy, shiny people and bright lights, but then I decided upon showcasing all the bright and beautiful flora found in the county as a tribute to the first ever Squares in September 2017 which was all about flowers. So prepared to be dazzled.

Lovely South African plants, leucadendrons are a type of protea / fynbos and the red here are bracts. I should see if I can grow one. This is in a nearby sculpture garden.
Beautiful. Yes, do.
so impressed by your daily font colour changes, and another set of glorious photographs 😀
Glad I’m impressing you so far, but there is a long way to go!
I am intrigued as to how many different colours you are going to find in the fonts!!
Well it has to match the post so there might be some repetition 😊
repetition is good for the human mind 😉
You’ve captured the light beautifully. It does look like a burning bush. Any more like this and I’m off to get my sunglasses. 🙂
Lovely photos of a lovely plant.
Fantastic – looks as if it’s on fire!
A fiery-looking plant. Very eye catching.
A nice crop of cheerful reds, Jude! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
I’m doing my best to create a bright month Pete!
Bright indeed Jude! They look like fiery flames licking up to the bright sky. Amazing.
Beautiful
Very pretty – is this a winter plant? It would be very cheery.
