That’s fabulous, Jude! Just sit me down there and leave me for a bit 🙂 🙂

You’d probably get blown away today. I seriously thought the roof was going to go during the night!

        Survived another one, hey? 🤣💕

Just about. Checked for casualties, one daffodil so far.

        2. restlessjo says:

          NOT a dead daffodil! 🤕💕

Popped it in a vase. 😊

  2. Ah, Trebah. I’ve not visited there for quite a few years. Lovely.

That’s a beautiful scene, Jude. Being me, I would naturally prefer the original photo though. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete. x

Lovely Trebah – DH and I visited back in 2006. Some day we’ll get back again! 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

Yes, Trebah is one of our favourites along with Lanhydrock.

I’m am sooo looking forward to being able to go garden-visiting again, although it will be fairly local. 🙂

        1. Heyjude says:

I wonder how local is local?

Not sure, but within possibilities of a day out…guess I’ll see what happens later in the summer! We have Beth Chatto’s garden not far away and my favourite garden (Fullers Mill) is just under 20 miles away. There’s some great gardens up in Norfolk too – now I really want to get round some of them!!

It’s not very clear is it. I’m not sure whether driving to a beach 20 mins away is acceptable. Beth Chatto’s garden is lovely, as is the nursery. I’d love to be close to that one.

Beth Chatto’s is really lovely – and one of the early blog posts I made was about a visit there: https://annmackay.blog/2018/09/02/a-favourite-garden/ I think we’ll be waiting for restrictions to be lifted a bit more before we really get out anywhere. Hopefully, we’ll be fairly ‘free’ by summer!

I’ve a couple of posts about her garden, I’ll definitely have a look at yours, see how differently we saw them (or similar)

I’ve just read yours – a lovely tribute to Beth Chatto and both very enjoyable to read. (Brought the experience of being there back to me very vividly.) Your garden visit posts are lovely!

        7. Heyjude says:

Thanks Ann. I miss the pleasure of exploring a new garden.

        8. Ann Mackay says:

          Oh yes, so do I!

  7. having fun Jude 😉 – the reflections work especially nicely here

    1. Heyjude says:

      Thanks Laura!

What a lovely spot Jude – a blanket and a picnic basket and I’d be all set! Liked your edits on this one as well.

  9. Wonderful! 🙂
