1. Love your Haiku! πŸ™‚ Love your photo too. πŸ™‚

    1. Heyjude says:

      Thanks Sally.

  2. beetleypete says:

You are getting it now. We had a huge fall last night again. I put up some videos of it this afternoon.
    Best wishes, Pete. x

    1. Heyjude says:

More of a dusting here compared to you, and your overnight temperature sounds scary! Time to light that wood burner 😊

      1. beetleypete says:

It’s actually not cold enough for the wood burner. It has to be serious before we can stand that heat. Today was warmer, despite the snow. Mainly because we lost the biting east wind. x

        1. Heyjude says:

Gosh you must have good central heating!

        2. beetleypete says:

We do. And excellent insulation too. But a bugalo is easier to heat, with no upper floor. x

  3. restlessjo says:

It looks so washed out! Still- novelty value, hey? πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    1. Heyjude says:

I guess. I’ll probably lose some plants though, the ground is solid.

  4. susurrus says:

This bigifies really well, to quote DerrickJKnight. I hadn’t realised you could do that in the reader.

  5. rusty duck says:

Crikey! How did it miss us? Nudged off course by Dartmoor perhaps. Although the forecast is flirting with a sprinkling for tonight..

    1. Heyjude says:

Nothing in Penzance or St Ives, but we are high up. Ground is frozen so I expect some plant losses.

  6. Suzanne says:

I don’t see any yellow πŸ˜‰ Love walking in the snow all wrapped up!

    1. Heyjude says:

Not much yellow here but some daffs are almost open. A bitterly cold wind so walking is not fun.

      1. Suzanne says:

Ok, I will wait for the daffs and keep warm.

        1. Heyjude says:

          Best idea! πŸ˜‚

        2. Suzanne says:

          πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  7. Su Leslie says:

Love the haiku! Hope your garden doesn’t suffer too badly from the snow. Blessed rain here; happy dance in progress πŸ€£πŸ˜‰

    1. Heyjude says:

Some plants do not look very happy, but I suppose I can replace them 😊

  8. Sue says:

Lovely view of Alice, and great Haiku, Jude!

    1. Heyjude says:

      Thanks Sue, inspiration struck!

  9. Gentle words, gentle picture.

That’s a lovely post. Both words and image.

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Margaret. It just struck me yesterday, watching the snow fall on those green pastures.
