A short series of views from Trencrom hill taken in early January 2021. Being forced into yet another lockdown and being confined to our local area I had the idea of going out each day with a different theme in mind. This first series is all about the clouds.

Loving the sense of space and big skies in this one
It’s the one thing I love about this place, that vast open space with hardly any signs of man.
Envious – it is possible to find in Hampshire but only if search and still have to be careful which way you look!
I remember well the glorious views from Cheesefoot Head car park on the A272, very dramatic after a very heavy hoar frost. Once saw deer along that route too. We travelled that route a lot between Surrey and Shropshire.
ah the A272 a road we know well – so noisy though these days!
Over the hills and far away…. π π You have little cause for complaint, if only the weather would play ball! Oh, and did somebody mention the C word π¦
If we had more dry days than wet then it would be almost perfect π
I could sympathise π€£. Wet here again, deterring people from going out too much in lockdown πβπ§οΈπ
I think you can claim “the long white cloud” in this one π
Just standing there taking in that view would lift my mood.
It always lifts mine. We don’t always go to the top, but when we do we just stand in awe, drinking in those views. I always feel totally relaxed and refreshed.
Most therapeutic, Jude
It also helps that looking out of my window all I see is greenery. And lambs now!
Oh, excellent! Well I can see a tiny clump of snowdrops outside my window, but I donβt have the energy to get into the garden and take a photograph….
I was excited to see snowdrops open under my tree! And crocuses.
Yes, itβs brightening up the dull days
WOW is an understatement Jude π π
It seems you can imagine an entire country from this point π cheers, PedroL
Such a beautiful picture. The sky and land are of equal beauty.
This series needs to be in a photo book of some kind.
Best wishes, Pete. x
The blog is my photo book. π
Ah, what a vista
Indeed. Deep breath… and relax.
Ommmm
π
Oh my – it’s such a great view.
I feel happy every time I see it.
I can see why. π
