    Have your brolly?

    1. Heyjude says:

Nah! Usually far too windy for a brolly 😅

      1. bushboy says:

Wind blowing the right way might get you home faster 😀

        1. Heyjude says:

I’m not Mary Poppins you know!

        2. bushboy says:

          😀 😀

  2. margaret21 says:

This has the makings of a great series. Keep ’em coming.

    1. Heyjude says:

A very brief series, haven’t seen a cloud for days other than this grey blanket 😳

      1. margaret21 says:

Don’t apply here for help. Uniform slate grey today.

        1. Heyjude says:

No snow? I heard there was heavy snow oop north!

        2. margaret21 says:

Oh, that too, in quantity. Deep, but not crisp or even. And it’s raining now.

        3. Heyjude says:

          Urgh! Nasty if it freezes.

      2. Ann Mackay says:

Oh dear, sounds like you got our weather!

        1. Heyjude says:

          Would you like it back?

        2. Ann Mackay says:

Seems we have got it back today – sigh!

        3. Heyjude says:

          Oops, sorry!

  3. restlessjo says:

Ah, that’s nice! Love the layers of colour and the brightness around the cottage 🙂 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

Sun behind, cloud ahead. Time to make for home before we get wet.

      1. restlessjo says:

  4. … makes me want to go OUT for a long walk!

  5. Sue says:

    Ah, I like this!

    1. Heyjude says:

      Not derelict. Yet. 😏

      1. Sue says:

        But a bucolic? scene….

  6. Love the contrast. 🙂

  7. beetleypete says:

Another top shot, Jude! Plenty of cloud and rain here today, but sadly no skies to match that one.
    Best wishes, Pete. x

    1. Heyjude says:

Nor here Pete, although it’s just beginning to clear now. Chilly too.

  8. Graham says:

Lovely light again. That looks like the cottage, on the west side of the hill, where I lived one winter long ago. Such a wonderful spot.

    1. Heyjude says:

It is on the west side, track from the NT car park. What a fabulous place to live. The low winter sun helps warm up photos at this time of year.

      1. Graham says:

It was a great place, though in those days it was half the size of the current place. It was also a good deal more rustic with only an open fireplace for heating and when it rained, water would run down one of the inside walls and the kitchen was prone to flooding. Golden days though!

  9. Cee Neuner says:

We started with blue skies today, and now it is dumping rain. Beautiful photo 😀

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Cee. The joy of winter!

  10. Wonderful colours. Sleet here today, so all grey.
