Square January #10

UP Up and Away
Kite surfing Hayle

Always the optimist, Becky is hoping that 2021 will be a more positive year as we march onwards and upwards. Yes, the theme for January Squares is the word ‘up’ and as usual she invites us all to join her in a month of ‘ups’ of any description. The only absolute rule is that your main photograph must be SQUARE, and remember a square has 4 equal sides.

Lovely – and the exact opposite of mine today.

I have more chance of a sunny beach photo than a snowy field!

  2. Another good square!

Marvellous blues. Love all the different people postures too.

    1. Heyjude says:

Yes, everyone doing their own thing and not one person looking at a phone!

A lovely cheery reminder of warmer days

First trip out with A after his first op I think.

ooh this is like a painting – gorgeous shot of happier times. They are braver than me though with these kites, I’ve only held one this size once for about 5minutes whilst a friend sorted himself out – felt like my arms were going to be pulled out of their sockets!!

I can imagine. This photo has special memories – August 2017 with the son who looked like death warmed up after his op.

      1. BeckyB says:

oh bless him and you, that was such a tough time.

        1. Heyjude says:

Yes. At least we haven’t had to go through that last year!

        2. BeckyB says:

          Thank goodness indeed xx

So much to love about this photo!

A really striking image – I love the tension between the diagonal line up to the kite and the people below – lots of energy there! Uplifting in more than one way… 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Ann. I really hope I can visit the beach to see this again. Last summer it became too busy for me to be happy about going near a beach.

      1. Ann Mackay says:

We avoided beaches too – it’s really not worth the risk and we’ll get back to them in future. 🙂

        1. Heyjude says:

My thoughts exactly. Now that we really should stay close to home it’s not an option as I have to drive to reach them.

let's have a conversation...
