Once again WordPress is picking up the wrong photo for the header. Only on the phone app and reader. If you go to the actual url it’s fine. I think. Getting very windy here now, but I have managed to tie the camellia up, whether that stops it being blown over is another question.
Oh that explains it. You can set the header image somewhere, but it is hard to find everything now in this new layout. I still default to the classic one when I do my monthly post.
I just wish they would test better. If you read posts on a phone where galleries are used the writing covers the pictures. Never did before the use of this block editor.
A very lazy day – seeing photos of the Aussie grandkids enjoying themselves in the sun and then everyone else’s dinner made us feel a little bit lonely, but there will be other times. I hope! Keeping away from a hospital is our priority right now!
Love the contrasting colours Jude, reminds me of NZ. Oh dear battening down for a storm, hope it is not too ferocious.
Hope you had a peaceful time over Christmas and best wishes for the coming year.
Oh what a nuisance about your pots and leaking conservatory – the Golfer has reroofed the shed about 4 times trying to stop a leak!! We had about half an inch (I know, not much!) of overnight rain on Saturday, but the ground was already wet so the local rivers will be high and there are puddles in the fields. Glorious sunshine and blue skies yesterday, but overcast today – there was some evidence of snow locally this morning though, according to our Zoom Zumba instructor!!
Lovely reflection on the water there. Hope you’re keeping well over Christmas period.

Hmmm… water, reflections?? I thought it was a gravel path…
It is a gravel path, but earlier a different photo was showing as the header in the reader / WP App. This keeps on happening!

It’s some quirk with WP started happening a few weeks ago. It picks up a photo from the media library. You’ll see the water one next week probably!
Oh dear the WP boffins are always tweeking things. Change for the sake of change and maybe to justify their job.

šš» to block editor….
That’s a lovely scene. Hope you had a good day yesterday.

Keeping away from hospital has to be the priority, Jude….whenever Iām feeling a tad sorry for myself, I repeat that thought,.,.
Quite. Though London and Bolton and Barcelona are every bit as remote as Australia right now, so sadly we’re all in much the same boat š¦
It was a little too colourful for me first thing, but I can cope now. š š Happy Boxing Day, Jude!
Too much port? š
No port. Started the white wine when I was cooking and forgot to stop šš
I find white wine doesn’t have much effect, unless it is sparkling. š¾
I was alright till I opened the second bottle. It seemed more sensible than Baileys…but it wasn’t š Mick was drinking red.
Baileys can be a bit sickly.
Dear oh dear
That does look very ‘jungly’ indeed.
Hope you are ready for Storm Bella later? Stay safe, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Just about to bring in the bird feeders. The camellia is tied to a tree. Can only cross fingers now š¤
Loving your sketches, Jude
Thanks Sue. Gives me something to do when I can’t get out into the garden.
Sounds like a plan

It’s very windy now PP. Rain due in the early hours I think. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed.
We need more rain here. Just come in from watering the garden.
Love this painterly effect, Jude. Happy new year to you and yours. š
Thanks Jane and to you!
my garden is a jungle!
No point worrying about it until spring. Is this year going to be house hunting year?
I hope so!
I like the way the ‘sketch’ shows up the different texture of the leaves. Hope Bella has not wreaked too much havoc, Jude.
The darn conservatory still leaks! And a few broken pots that happened earlier in the week. A lot of hail here – how is your weather? Snow?
