I’d like to catch one over the sea, but at this time of year I’m not sure which coast is best – probably Lands End! And I don’t fancy driving back from there in the dark.

Beautiful, Jude! If it were Australia, that smudge on the horizon would probably be smoke! There have been some stunning sunsets here also, maybe hot weather and dust from the west.
That smudge actually is smoke! Someone having a bonfire I imagine. And the hazy mist that lingered most of the day added to the effect, much like your dust does.

Very poorly indeed. In a coma, on a ventilator and with fibrosis spreading in his lungs. Desperate, in fact!
That’s not good. I hope everyone else who was with him is OK. And you stay safe!
Noone else appears to have been infected. He is one very unlucky man, with a weakness in his lungs from a bad smoking habit. There’s a lesson there!
