The Kilmarnock Willow at the end of my garden is hanging on to its last few leaves until the next windy day arrives.
Time to join in once again with Dawn’s annual “Festival of Leaves” autumn challenge where we look at the beauty of this season.

Lovely golds there. All my colors in my garden have faded into a dull brown but remain reluctant to fall off and mulch the garden beds.
Not as many leaves left today!
That is indeed a lovely autmnal colour, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Practically all gone now Pete. Winter on its way…
That is lovely, and presumably a last gasp. Only the oak leaves are hanging on here.
Not many left today. All very wet and soggy…
Lovely
The leaves of brown came tumbling down, remember… 🙂 🙂
Oooh, I like it!
The leaves are disappearing quickly here too. I have seen newts in an area of my garden, and having read that they can overwinter in leaves, I’m just about to make them a big leaf-pile from leaves gathered elsewhere in the garden. Hope it helps them keep snug in the cold weather! 🙂
Looks like a very thick weeping willow.. 😉
