Autumn Colour

Bananas have become very popular in the last few years, especially for their large architectural leaves. You see quite a lot of them in Cornish public gardens. As you can see, in autumn the leaves turn wonderful colours before they die. Not frost hardy so in other parts of the country they are best grown in pots and brought indoors over winter and kept dry, having cut down the leaves first.

Time to join in once again with Dawn’s annual “Festival of Leaves” autumn challenge where we look at the beauty of this season.

Now that’s unusual autumn colour – fabulous, although like you and Margaret not one for me to have!
