Brian (aka Bushboy) is running a monthly challenge where he asks you to post the last photo on your SD card.
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for October.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”
Rain water collects on my flat roof providing an ideal spot for a bit of bathing – if you are a sparrow that is. Taken on the phone 25 October 2020 from the upstairs window.
That’s charming!
Yes, they are so sweet. They also use the water on the big flat rock in the garden, but I can’t see that now with the new lantern roof.
Aw, so cute
Very good. Cute sparrows and a lovely view of your garden
That is a sweet shot of Sparrows Jude 🙂 love their fluffiness. Thanks for joining in 🙂
How cute!
Better than the pigeons which have taken to roosting on our roof. Mr ET has started a determined campaign to discourage them with a shower from the garden hose in the mornings. They are nesting under the solar panels on next door’s roof and seem to think they will set up residence on ours as well.
I usually have collared doves visiting, but not seen any yet since the spring.
A little chirpy chap 🙂 🙂
The previous photo had him rubbing his head on the roof.
Gorgeous little visitors, Jude.
They keep me entertained during the winter months. Once the feeders are out the garden is full of birds. Not as majestic as your menagerie though 😊
The colourful garden is a tonic Jude; the birds a bonus
The birds keep me happy over the winter months.
I can sit indefinitely and watch birds bathing in a small puddle of water. For whatever reason, it just makes me feel happy 🙂
Same here. It just brings a smile to your face. Simple joy.
