It’s so yellow. There used to be a big pampas grass plant out the front of our place when I was a child, but the fronds were really white.
This is white, but the setting sun turned it yellow which is why I noticed it.
It’s very pretty.
I do like pampas grass! Not something you see much of here. 🙂 🙂
There must have been a huge fashion for it here in the 1970s. It’s all over especially on the coastal gardens and caravan parks. This one is close to home, I like the way the low sun caught the flowers.
I did too 🤣💕
Lovely scene! 😊💙
Thank you. Just around the corner.
How amazing grasses are when they catch the light.
They really are. You can see why they have become fashionable.
I once grew one bigger than that next to my garage in the Docklands house. The leaves are as sharp as razors!
Best wishes, Pete.
I know! Vicious leaves. I had one in a garden in SA once.
Lovely photo, Jude, the juxtaposition of the frond colour with the roof colour is very attractive. Pampas grass looks nice but can be a real thug.
Lovely shot Jude. The pampas is absolutely glowing
Love the way you’ve caught the effect of the light on the grass – makes it look its best. 🙂
