Brian (aka Bushboy) is running a monthly challenge where he asks you to post the last photo on your SD card.
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for September.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

What eating out is like now! This photo has been edited as I used a coloured pencil filter on my phone, so downloaded it like this. Hope that’s allowed Brian!
I guess so Jude as it is a wonderful effect. Thanks for joining in 🙂 🙂
Phew! Thanks Brian 😁
🙂
This photo could be one that encapsulates 2020 for us when all this is (we hope) over one day.
Quite. Should have thought to photograph supermarket queues and cleaning stations!
You can do that too … if you want.
No queues at our supermarkets, well not now.
Nor here, usually.
Indeed!
The ‘New Normal’. That’s one for the history books of the future, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Indeed. Who’d have thought it!
A coloured pencil filter! You are fancy these days 🙂 🙂
Do you like it? 🙄
Not wild about the subject matter, but I do like it when you experiment. I just looked at my last shot, with a view to skwaring it, but as often happens I prefer the shot as is. Thiem and Ruud are going to be tired at the end of this one 🙂 🙂
There have been some good long matches.
I love the effect: and the subject matter — well as Pete says — one for the history books
Sigh… I think these scenes are going to be with us for a while. It’s depressing that the UK have so many covid cases and deaths compared to NZ or Australia. We could have closed our borders too and stopped people going on holiday abroad all through the summer.
It is depressing, and a bit scary. I’m worried about how my mum will cope over winter, and my brother who lives close to her is as much use as a chocolate teapot.
I don’t understand the overseas travel thing either, but I read in aGuardian article that people who’d travelled out of the UK recently were far more likely to test positive than those who hadn’t. All I could think was “no shit Sherlock.”
Makes me so angry Su, and I am normally a very tolerant person.
I can understand that. So much misery being caused by selfish, entitled behaviour.
Exactly.
Nice effect, depressing subject matter!
I’m surprised anyone is eating out at the moment. I love that filter effect.
