The natural colours of stone and slate and wood with a little help of delicate shades of blue paint fading nicely in the Cornish weather are beautifully illustrated in the outbuildings of Godolphin estate.
A rare opportunity to get a photo of my favourite doors closed. Usually one is open to allow access into the courtyard and the second hand book stall, but because of Covid restrictions the buildings are not open. The textures are just amazing.
And the neutral stonework is a perfect neutral foil to the lush colourful herbaceous borders.
