This month I have been running a challenge on my Travel blog about being creative with light. So every time I go out and about I am being more conscious of the way the light falls; the shadows; the colours. These red roses simply glow in the late evening sunlight.
The shadow patterns are rather nice too.
gorgeous!
That worked very well, with three distinct ‘sections’. π
Best wishes, Pete. x
It is such a lovely rose, I wish it was growing on my wall, mine is a pale pink and doesn’t show up half as well.
Indeed those shadows are nice. As is that rose.
Youβve caught that golden hour Jude, beautiful
A very glowy capture, Jude. Beautiful red rose. π
Marvellously showy, Jude!
I thought they were yours for a moment. Very nice π π
Sadly not, my neighbours.
stunning . . . wish I had a wall and rose like that.
Getting a bit bashed about today, red rose petals all over the courtyard!
Oh dear! Our rose survived but the apple tree has lost so many apples.
I bet your own rose is just as beautiful – Love all the patterns and structures – even in the shadows. A glorious shot.
My rose isn’t even flowering yet! But plenty of buds. The wall it grows on gets no direct sunlight at all as it is north-facing. I will try and remember to take a photo when it gets going!
Please do!
