wild landscapes

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I am lucky that I can still walk from my house (daily exercise) to look at this view. It lifts my heart, even though I know I cannot walk on those sandy beaches for a while. So near and yet so far.

Whilst we are confined to #StayAtHome I will be posting photos from around my house and garden to hopefully cheer us all up.

Lucky you. Lucky all of us who have the opportunity to enjoy views and country views.

It has been busier around here though, you have to wonder where people are coming from.

  2. That is a glorious view. I’ve been going for a walk every morning too. We live on the edge of the city in an elevated position and the view over the rural landscape is beautiful.

You’ll have to post some photos for a Jo’s walk.

Lovely view Jude and the weather looks good too

    1. Heyjude says:

Ironically the weather has been wonderful since lockdown began.

      1. pommepal says:

We are not in total lockdown yet. Can still get takeaways and Bunnings, the big hardware and gardening shop, is still open and various small traders battling on

        1. Heyjude says:

It’s a shame our garden centres and nurseries have had to close. Fortunately online orders are still being fulfilled even of we have to wait a little longer.

I’m pleased we still have some places open. Just come in from doing my garden rounds and having morning tea. ā˜•ļøšŸ§€

You need a hill or two to get the pulse racing šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ Love the distant promise of those hills, Jude! Have a productive Monday!

    1. Heyjude says:

We live on a hill Jo, so any walk around here involves a bit of huffing and puffing 😊 finished all your chocolate? šŸ™„

      1. restlessjo says:

Huff away, dear! It’s good for you šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ As the chocolate certainly isn’t! Loads still in the fridge. I think I over-compensated šŸ™‚

          Save me a nibble… šŸ«

        2. restlessjo says:

Tsssk! 😦 And then Marie donated us some chocolate cake as reward for bringing her a takeaway šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚

        3. Heyjude says:

You are going to need an exercise bike on your roof!

        4. restlessjo says:

There are a lot of steps to get up there šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚

  5. It will be cold up there today (and for a while yet it seems) but still worth the view Jude –

    1. Heyjude says:

Not cold, but we have the wind back.

I have been making the most of my usual local walks with Ollie, and not allowing myself to get bored of the same places. But it feels like autumn has suddenly returned today! šŸ™‚
    Best wishes, Pete,. x

    1. Heyjude says:

It does get boring traipsing around the same lanes 😦

      1. beetleypete says:

I came back earlier today because it was so cold! My hands were freezing. x

        1. Heyjude says:

Oh, dear… are you feeling any better btw?

        2. beetleypete says:

I had to put the central heating on! šŸ™‚

  8. What stunning views Jude. What a lucky lady you are to have such beautiful scenery withing walking distance.

    1. Heyjude says:

If only it was walking distance to those beaches!

It is a lovely view, been a bit polluted lately with stuff coming over from Europe, so it’s been very hazy and my eyes have been watering for a couple of days.
