1. Lovely spring flowers. πŸ™‚
Your StayAtHome posts remind me of Jeff Sinon’s Isolation Project, a photo a day of what’s around the house and yard. Do you know his blog? https://jeffsinonphoto.com/2020/03/31/isolation-project-day-9/

    1. Heyjude says:

I do know of Jeff – he is a brilliant photographer – but I don’t follow him. Another blogger, Laura, is doing a similar project. She is also a brilliant poet.

  2. Your spring flowers are really blooming now. That must be a treat while you’re not going far.

    1. Heyjude says:

Yes indeed. Always something to look for in the Cornish hedges. The blackthorn is about to blossom and the foxglove leaves are everywhere. The dog violets are the king of the show at the moment, their lovely violet colour contrasting well with the yellow gorse.

  3. Anne says:

Thank you, what more could you want to cheer you up, on a grey lockdown morning!

  4. margaret21 says:

Suddenly the spring flowers are getting colourful. Thanks for a preview of what to expect in the Frozen North!

    1. Heyjude says:

Blackthorn shortly, then bluebells and May blossom followed by foxgloves. Thank goodness nature provides a continuance of colour.

      1. margaret21 says:

Oh yes, the bluebells ‘ll be along soon.

        1. Heyjude says:

My daughter in Surrey says she’s already seen some in the woods near her!

        2. margaret21 says:

Them southerners. Always have to get in first …

        3. Heyjude says:

I know! I had to ask if she was sure, but she described them to me and they do appear to be bluebells!

  5. restlessjo says:

Awfully pretty, Jude! Now what will you be going over the Top with today, I wonder? πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    1. Heyjude says:

      Something completely different πŸ˜‰

I shall be cheered no end Jude πŸ™‚

    1. Heyjude says:

Oh, good. Let’s keep it like that 😁

      1. bushboy says:

        Yep πŸ™‚

  7. beetleypete says:

I’m still doing a few miles a day around here, but we still have mostly mud to photograph. I saw a water vole the other day, but naturally didn’t have a camera! πŸ™‚
    Best wishes, Pete.x

    1. Heyjude says:

I always take my camera or my phone.

  8. Joanne Sisco says:

All those colours are a joy to see right now.

    1. Heyjude says:

Yes, and the fact that the sun is shining helps a lot too!

      1. Joanne Sisco says:

We too have been having sunshine and warm days this week. In fact, I think it’s a problem. We’re having enough trouble keeping people self-isolated. Trying to keep a Canadian indoors when the weather is nice is turning out to be pretty well near impossible πŸ™

        1. Heyjude says:

We’re all suffering having come out of a particularly awful winter.

  9. Colline says:

    What a pretty array

    1. Heyjude says:

Always something going on in these hedges.

  10. Chloris says:

A lovely collage. I am enjoying the primroses lining the lanes round here when I go out on my bike. And the violets too.

    1. Heyjude says:

The violets are lovely and so noticeable for such a tiny flower.
