          Not sure how long I will be able to grow them if the winters get any milder and wetter. They really like some cold. But since I don’t expect them to come back they are just like annual plants.

          Do you lift the bulbs and refrigerate? Some people in warmer climates advocate this method

          No. I can’t be doing with all the faff of digging up bulbs, I grow most of the tulips in pots and tend to remove the bulbs after flowering. The larger ones I might plant again, but small bulblets get composted.
