The Buoys are having a Party!

On the rare occasion this month when the sun has been shining during our shopping trips in Hayle I have taken the opportunity to have a little walk around the south quay just to see what’s happening. Last week I was fascinated by all the buoys on this fishing boat. It looked like they were having a party!

And given all the wonderful sunlight and daylight I am also using this as a last bonus square for Becky’s ‘words ending in light’ month which comes to an end all too quickly. How about harbour-light Becky?

Ah, you’ve got me singing now! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ “Now the harbour light is calling, This will be our last goodbye, Now the Carnival is over, I will love you till I die”. Did you join in? I love a party, Jude!

I will add the link to the post. Ages since I heard the Seekers, she (Judith Durham?) has a lovely voice.

    Still can’t ‘like’

    1. Heyjude says:

Mmm… I don’t know why you can’t like, are you viewing on a computer or a phone?

      1. On the computer. from the email. A white oblong flashes up and goes. At least I can comment! πŸ™‚

        1. Heyjude says:

I don’t use email, I use the Reader and always visit a site to comment. Is it just my site that is a problem? Have you tried going to the actual post on the site?

        2. I go from the email to your actual site and that’s where I can’t like. It happens on some others but not all.

        3. Heyjude says:

That is weird. I have known it happen to me, but usually when WP thinks I have logged out (even when I have not). Logging back in seems to work. Maybe try that?

  7. And spotlights at the end..
Takes me back to my childhood!
Harbourlight must be a word surely ?

    1. Heyjude says:

If it isn’t it is now!

  8. We saw the Seekers some years ago – friends gave us tickets when they couldn’t go. Judith Durham still had a wonderful voice, though she had been very ill.

    1. Heyjude says:

She is still singing now I believe, in her mid-seventies.

  9. Wow, you’ve really gone back a long way with The Seekers. They did a concert here not so long ago.
