I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Jude, and best wishes for 2020. May it be generously kind ๐Ÿ’•

Quiet Jo, as we like it with a nice sunny walk up to ‘our’ hill. We managed to avoid most of the commercial side. As for 2020 I’m just hoping for some better weather!

Back in November it looked like we were going to have another brutal winter – we had very cold temperatures and a LOT of snow.
However it all changed earlier this month and it continues to be unusually mild. All the snow disappeared long ago and it feels more like spring than winter. I like this version of winter a lot, although I know an extended winter without snow will create unusually dry conditions in the spring and a bad forest fire season. Sigh – we humans can never seem to get it right :/

Enjoy your quiet! Today we are expecting a lot of rain (Iโ€™m hoping it wonโ€™t turn to snow) and itโ€™s time to take down the Christmas decorations. We like to see the new year in without the baggage of the old year still hanging on ๐Ÿ˜Š

I always find this a good time to do ‘spring cleaning’ before the sun appears to reveal all those cobwebs ๐Ÿ˜‚

I know what you mean. I just found a monster dust bunny in the corner of the bedroom. I think it was planning a hostile takeover.

Another dull day, but at least it’s not raining! I’m trying to work up enough energy to go out and visit a garden.

Did you get out? I got sidetracked by a film so missed the little bit of sunshine!

No. Just too depressing. I can’t seem to find any get-up-and-go at the moment. Still spent a nice afternoon messing with the blog challenge.

Wish i was closer so we could meet up . . I am also struggling but know that meet ups always cheer me up even when I struggle to get out of the door! Hoping your energy returns soon xxx
