Occasionally when you look out to sea there is no distinction between water and sky. The monotone colours hardly seem worth photographing, but the subtle shimmering shades of grey draw you in and then you notice a pop of colour and the shot creates itself.

You can always make a shot with a lighthouse π π That’s a great pop of colour. Happy Wednesday, Jude!
Thanks Jo! No electricity all day so we’re going out shortly for lunch and a garden walk. Too cold indoors πΈ
Great excuse, Jude! I’ve got chicken & veg in the slow cooker. Sort of a stew π π
A nice lamb rogan josh and a quick walk to find some abstracts in the garden. Got home 15 mins before the leccy was turned back on!

I was popped Jude π
Hope it wasn’t too painful π
Not at all. Quite fun actually π
This is a great shot.
Thanks Su. I knew there was a photo out there somewhere π
Excellent composition, Jude. Everything is just right.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Only photo I took that day of the sea. The gardens were more interesting.
Really nice! It looks like the background was made for the pier.
I guess that sometimes this confusion leads to plane crashes. I can see why.
We have that lack of distinction here too, but it’s due to smoke. π¦

Well seenπ
On the way to a pub lunch π
Nothing over here like those yummy pub lunch sitting next to a roaring fire. Do they still do that?
Oh yes!
Yes! Quite beautiful with the silver monotone.
Love this photo!
Thank you π
