A familiar place from an unfamiliar angle. I usually approach ‘my hill’ from the north or east side and take pretty much the same photographs, albeit it at different times of the day or in different seasons. Exiting through the western ‘gate’ gives you a completely different view of the rocks as well as new rocks and a Giant’s Well, well-hidden from view from the top of the hill.
Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #59 | Angles
Isn’t it interesting how a different perspective gives it a whole different outlook. It’s so green and beautiful.
It’s nearly always green here Carol! I discovered this side of the hill when looking for bluebells.
Any luck?
Oh, yes. There was a post about them back in May.
What wonderful photos, Jude. And what an unusual and original interpretation of angles. Cheers all round.
Well I do love to look at sculptures from different angles so I guess these rocks are just natural sculptures, I’m just used to seeing them from a certain POV.

Interesting angles, Jude!
It does look different from this side.

Love it ππ
Good choice for the challenge, and always good to see ‘your hill’ too. π
Best wishes, Pete. x
Thanks Pete!
Nothing like a bit of rock to kick-start the day!

What a gorgeous spot and a beautiful set of photos, Jude. Perfect for the challenge.
Thanks Patti, glad you enjoyed my different view on the hill π
βWellβ done Jude (get it?!). Love the giantβs well π. You hit this challenge on all cylinders
Glad you enjoyed it Tina! That well is hard to find and a bit of a squeeze between rocks to get to.
It is a lovely spot. Those boulders are impressive
Even a simple rock can intrigue by changing the angle. Great illustration.
It can indeed. Thanks Elizabeth.
