a different view of the hill

A familiar place from an unfamiliar angle. I usually approach ‘my hill’ from the north or east side and take pretty much the same photographs, albeit it at different times of the day or in different seasons. Exiting through the western ‘gate’ gives you a completely different view of the rocks as well as new rocks and a Giant’s Well, well-hidden from view from the top of the hill.

An excellent example of how different something familiar can look from different angles! Your Hill looks a pleasant place to wander, with long views. I understand you’re taking photos of it every year. I would too.

For the first year of living here I probably took photos of it every month! A great place for watching the sun set, and also seeing native wild flowers. Always something different to see and the views are divine. A very special place from every angle.
