        Clever girl!

  1. beetleypete says:

That’s a good photo-manipulation effect, Jude. I still prefer the original though. πŸ™‚
    Best wishes, Pete. x

I’ll never be an artist so this is my attempt πŸ˜€

      1. beetleypete says:

Don’t get me wrong, it’s really good. I just love poppies, that’s all. πŸ™‚

        1. Heyjude says:

          I know πŸ˜€

  2. Arkenaten says:

That is a smashing composition, Jude.

    1. Heyjude says:

I came across a Monet’s Poppy image and wondered how one of my photos would look if I played around with it. I am quite happy with this result. Lots of nice dabs of colour!

  3. I like the effect! It’s a great contrast to all the blues we’ve had too.

    1. Heyjude says:

      I thought so too!

  4. Sandra says:

I thought ‘Monet’ when I saw the poppies. You’ve done a brilliant job!

    1. Heyjude says:

Well to be fair, Photoshop Elements did most of the work. πŸ™‚

  5. Elizabeth says:

I too thought immediately of Monet. Great photo manipulation.

    1. Heyjude says:

      Thanks Elizabeth.

  6. Very cool effect, Jude. I love it. πŸ™‚

    1. Heyjude says:

      Nice to play occasionally πŸ™‚

  7. Lucid Gypsy says:

Very pretty, I’d also like the original and it would be a very close tie. What photo edit program do you use Jude? I’ve got a new laptop but I haven’t bought anything yet, just using the free photoshop express.

    1. Heyjude says:

I have Photoshop Elements Gilly. Does everything I want and more.

  8. That’s very clever – it creates a great effect!

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Elaine, I figured the original might look good with a bit of editing.

      1. I think you figured correctly. πŸ™‚
